Palestine begins and ends with Palestine — that includes our history, people, culture, and struggle. Amid a flurry of posts from allies and enemies regarding the American-backed Zionist holocaust of Palestine, I wanted to reiterate that colonial narratives are unwelcome. Our liberation struggle doesn't begin on a different continent. It started right here, at home, on a land indigenous people from the region call from the river to the sea that was invaded by barbaric European gangs.
Decolonization extends to ridding ourselves of colonizer language, refusing space to settler-PR, and forcing us to swallow Western narratives that don't apply to our region or serve as a cushion to those who have stolen our homes and murdered us in cold blood for 75 years, mainly accusations of antisemitism and advocating for Jewish struggles in the context of Palestine — reject this framing entirely.
The Nazi holocaust and Western guilt — both foreign to our continent — are not Palestine's burden to carry. Thus, when well-meaning Western allies or Zionist supporters leverage Jewish struggles with Palestinian liberation, they're forcing us to carry the weight of white supremacy and its crimes. Why are Palestinians being charged for white-on-white violence anyway?
It is not the Palestinian Liberation Struggle, and look what Hitler did to Jewish Europeans. It is the Palestinian Liberation Struggle.
Where should the settlers go?
While the world went on to learn about the horrors of the Nazi holocaust, Palestinians were getting massacred by the same people they welcomed into their homes. Palestinians sheltered Jewish refugees escaping European persecution only to be thrown into the same ghettos they shielded them from once the Zionist movement took hold.
"This is a tragedy of exporting Nazism from Europe into Palestine and calling it Zionism while the denazification campaign takes center stage in post-war Germany." — Noora Kassem.
Westerners are programmed to view "Jews" as victims, and while this might be true in the context of white supremacists, it does not apply to Palestine or our entire region. Below is an example of a Zionist settler centering their victimhood to justify colonizing Palestine by framing land theft as a noble fight to create a "Jewish state" like we owed him our homes, freedom, and dignity for it.
Sam Thorpe's grandparents stopped being victims the day they threw Palestinians in concentration camps and committed 500,000 holocausts to create an ethno-supremacist Jewish state in PALESTINE. His grandparents did not choose to live side by side with Palestinians; they chose murder, colonization, and becoming the lords of our land and resources— they chose white supremacy.
In his depraved tweet, Sam Thorpe was speaking to other white people — Black and Indigenous people were not on his mind when he depicted a "heroic" tale of "fighting"…I suppose barbarians… to manufacture a homeland in a place Ehud Barak refers to as a "villa in the Jungle." — It is a white people story, not ours.
The "israeli" government "now" is no different than "then" or every single government that came along since 1948. And so, Westerners or Zionists pinning the current genocide on Netanyahu, right-wing factions, or three settlers is false. It is the Zionist entity and all its genocidal settlers that are the root cause of this violence.
It is not the Palestinian liberation struggle and Jewish-colonizer grift. It is the Palestinian Liberation Struggle.
Not All Jews
On October 7th, the concentration camp paraglided over the apartheid wall and into the nuclear colony — what Palestinians are calling the beginning of the end of the Zionist occupation. It can be equated to the Warsaw ghetto uprising, though there is a rebranding campaign taking place to label it "worse than the holocaust," defouling the memory of the Jewish holocaust victims and exposing the insidiousness of Zionist propaganda.
Zionists raped and pillaged our land for 76 years. Immediately after October 7th, Palestinians in concentration camps were asked to condemn, condemn, and condemn resisting their annihilation and reiterate that it is "not all Jews" that we hate, loathe, and despise, but our colonizers.
Must our statements always be followed by "some" and "not all" when we are pointing out the demons shredding our babies alive? Genuine anti-Zionist allies get this concept the same way that we use Christo-fascists, Muslim incels, and Hindu supremacists to refer to a group but not every single person from the larger identity.
So why does the term "Jews" immediately illicit apologies, tears, and wagging fingers even from our allies, as if Palestinian genocide must always take a backseat to what Europeans did to Europeans? Is the narrative that "Jews" are always victims, helping anyone except racists?
It's not the Palestinian liberation struggle, and I promise we don't hate all Jews. It's the Palestinian liberation struggle.
"Jewish settlers stole my house. It's not my fault they're Jewish" — Mohammed El Kurd
The Rafah invasion began on May 6, 2024. The occupation sounded the sirens on occupied 48' Palestinian territories to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day as Zionists moved to conduct the most well-documented holocaust in our times. This is deliberate. It is as deliberate as "israel" choosing to build their Holocaust Memorial Museum on the hills of Deir Yassin, the site of the most infamous massacre of the Nakba.
Zionists lead with their Jewish identity; it is part of their game to conflate Judaism and Zionism, and while Palestinians have consistently denounced antisemitism, genocidaires-identity-nuance didn't save us from the demons who call us Amalek and vandalize our homes with the star of David or carve it into Palestinian faces for sport. Nor did it hold every Jewish organization, charity, synagogue, school, or institution waving the Zionist genocide flag accountable; it gave them cover. So, who are we protecting really?
It is the American-backed Zionist welfare colony that refers to itself as the Jewish state, its settlers who refer to themselves as Jewish nationals, and the Jewish army. It is "israel" that builds Jewish-only settlements and roads— yet it is we, their victims, who are asked to speak on colonial terms as bombs rain down so that Stacey, who lives on another continent, doesn't get offended.
Seven months into a genocide, liberal NGOs, "anti-Zionist -israelis," — an oxymoron — and white supremacists continue to engage in a performance allyship, shouting 'all lives matter' at the extermination camp and conflating Jewish safety with Palestine. Their messaging, intentionally masking the settler-colonial nature of the Zionist occupation, can never be forgiven.
It's not the Palestinian Liberation Struggle, and what about Jewish safety? It's the Palestinian Liberation Struggle.
It's Jewish supremacy and White supremacy
It was July 1, 1906, pre-Nazi holocaust, when the American Zionist Convention favored Palestine for Jews, initially eyeing Uganda for their white supremacist settler colony. A Jewish state means violent supremacy over non-Jews. And while it is most definitely a white supremacist settler colony, meaning the Western Military outpost they call "israel" was not built for the I-am- 5% -Morrocan- Jew or the Jewish Ethiopian tokens they bring out whenever convenient, they still have rights over Palestinians who have non.
Any Jew that lands in Palestine has a right to kick a Palestinian out of their home- irrespective of where they came from. All it takes is a birthright trip. Racialized settlers do not live under military apartheid law, but civil law. They are not refugees on their own land like Palestinians; they do not live in concentration camps but in our grandma's homes — they are settlers, and all settlers participate in our genocide. Equating racialized colonizers with colonized Palestinians — their choice to colonize and our non-choice of getting ethnically cleansed- is a false equivalence.
It is not the Palestinian liberation struggle and the racialized settler woes. It is the Palestinian Liberation Struggle.
"I'm not white, I'm Jewish"
Benzion Mileoisky, the Polish- Philidephia born "isreali" PM, is not less Polish than any Pole because he happens to be Jewish. God forbid random Christians from the caves and mountains of Europe also start claiming they're indigenous to Palestine because of a 3,000-year-old religious book.
Is it not the most ludacris phenomenon that unshowered riffraff like Michael Rappaport can wake up one day and "move" to Occupied Palestine to frolic on a land my Palestinian family was ethnically cleansed from because he happens to be "Jewish?" Worse, to gaslight us on video with, "Where is the apartheid?" as if my entire extended family is not languishing in camps as refugees?
Zionism represents the classic European colonist tactic of seizing land, this time justified through Judaism. It is the most empowered form of white supremacist, anti-Black, and anti-Indigenous racism because other colonizers have allowed them to exploit fictitious reverse racism for decades. Palestinians in cages can't be racist toward the demons who occupy them, yet it is how they justify massacring us and building apartheid walls.
Linking religion to biology, or Judaism as an ethnic religion, is a medieval white supremacist invention that has allowed Jewish people to benefit from white supremacy while evading accountability for white crimes because of their perceived victimhood. "I'm not white, I'm Jewish" is a deliberate fabrication aimed at solidifying Zionist's illegitimacy on our land.
It is not the Palestinian liberation struggle and settler inferiority complex and European reject identity- crisis. It is the Palestinian Liberation Struggle.
Every accusation is a confession
While the Zionist's plea to colonize Palestine begins with "Dear Balfour," they've run on the "3,000 years of ancient history" white supremacist lie to justify their white supremacist settler colony, only for Butcher Biden to project their biblical depravity on us and say, "Hamas is motivated by the ancient desire to eliminate Jews" when they've only been around for 37 years — less than the number of years he's Botoxed his face.
All colonists used God as their real estate agent, and Judaism as an ethnic identity is this era's manifestation of the same religious fantasy.
Ben M. Freeman from Scottland has a predatory fantasy of establishing a connection with a land or continent that he doesn't belong to, all while using the language of the oppressed to further entrench his depravity.
"The people of Israel" from the ancient book that's been weaponized to colonize Palestine happen to be Palestinians and not Poles, Ukrainians, Bulgarians, and so on…LARPing as Middle Easterners with bottled tans who came on ships and flights to the newly western-backed military outpost created in 1948 by European thugs.
It's not The Palestinian Liberation Struggle and violent white supremacist biblical fantasies. It's the Palestinian Liberation Struggle.
Allies forgetting that we, Palestinians, are the Palestinian cause
As Palestinians describe scenes of judgment day that continue to unfold in Gaza, some have rushed to strong-arm us into kumbaya-ing with our murderers and to preach unity in some distant future, ignoring right now, going as far as calling us divisive as our families' body parts come out in pieces from under the rubble.
Rejecting normalization with our oppressors is one of the main foundations of the resistance. Besides, what is "equality for all" amongst people who are safe and privileged and the ones being genocided for 75 years but another attempt at the typical post-colonial model with white people on top and us relegated to the bottom?
The Palestinian liberation struggle is about restoring power to the indigenous people of the land so that all that’s left of the Zionist occupation is an archive of war crimes in a library. Look to French Algeria or Rhodesia for inspiration. It is absolutely not about critiquing the Zionist occupation or offering a seat at the table for our genocidaires and colonists but breaking the table on their demon faces — Join us.
Palestine begins and ends with Palestine. Our story starts with my grandpa's olive tree, the tatreez on my grandma's sleeve, and the sea that swims up to the stones of Akka…bateekh… knaffeh, in a land that indigenous people of the region call from the river to the sea. It is the Palestinian Liberation Struggle. Full stop.
This was an amazing piece. Beautifully written.
I’ve been arguing this point, along with the fact that at the same time the US was deep into Jim Crow/segregation/lynchings and apartheid was alive and kicking in South Africa, for a long time, and I’m relieved to realize someone other than myself is aware of its validity, and thank you: While the world went on to learn about the horrors of the Nazi holocaust, Palestinians were getting massacred by the same people they welcomed into their homes.
